MDC asks residents to be safe this holiday weekend

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - With the 4th of July weekend upon us, the Missouri Department of Conversation wants to remind people to celebrate safely.

Statewide news services coordinator with the MDC Joe Jerek not only wants people to be safe with fireworks but want them to be safe with any form of fire this holiday season.

At the first sign of a fire getting out of control call 911.
