TRENTON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says three Jamesport residents were injured after a buggy and SUV wrecked in Grundy County.
The Patrol says it began when 23-year-old Jessica Lewis was driving a 2005 Buick SUV on State Highway 6, just west of Trenton.
Around 6:15 p.m. Monday, authorities say Lewis tried to overtake a buggy on the highway and instead slammed into the back of it, ejecting Chris and Sarah Kramer, both 23-years-old.
Sarah Kramer was taken to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City by Lifeflight, Chris Kramer refused treatment at the scene and Jessica Lewis was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital by a private vehicle.
