Nebraska City City Council makes land purchase

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. - At it's latest meeting, the Nebraska City City council discussed an ordinance to purchase property located near the city hospital for a residential development project.

City administrator Louis Leone say they won't be building the homes, but will be purchasing the land which will cost around $460,000. The city hopes to have an outside developer start building homes in the newly owned area.
