CONCEPTION, Mo. - The Conception Abbey and Seminary college have hit the halfway point of their $2.5 million phase goal, as part of their "Brother Living in Unity" campaign.

The project began back in Spring of 2019, with the goal of constructing a new seminary residence hall and contributing to the Monastic Retirement Endowment to contribute to the well being of retired Monks.

According to a press release, the building, called "Good Shepard Hall" was conceptualized with the goal of "bringing seminarians together under a roof that can provide for their physical and spiritual needs."

The $900,000 left to raise will be going towards finishing important parts of the building such as the student quarters and generator, including other small details.

More information about the project is available at campaign.conceptionabbey.org.
