MARYVILLE, Mo. - After several weeks of work, Downtown Maryville's Storefront Decorating Contest and Flag Fundraiser has come to a close.
Judges recently evaluated all of the businesses that participated in the contest, with embellished windows, doorways, and sidewalks welcoming back Northwest Missouri State University students with a "Welcome Back Bearcats" theme.
A $250 grand prize will be awarded to the winner of the contest, which will be announced tomorrow.
DeAnn Davidson, Executive Director for Downtown Maryville, explained participating businesses will also have their displays posted on the Downtown Maryville Facebook and Instagram Pages, where locals are encouraged to comment, like, and share.KXCV-KRNW
