COUNTRY CLUB, Mo. - An Andrew County has been arrested and charged with making terroristic threats against a school.
The Andrew County Sheriff's Office says they received a call at 8:09 p.m. Sunday about a Facebook post that said, “I’m hearing that the admin of John Glenn Elementary think they can block parents from our school tomorrow…if you intend to block parents from school tomorrow, be prepared to die...”
The post came from an account under the name Guy Johnson. Authorities went to the home Johnson, who lives in Country Club, and talked with him.
According to a probable cause statement, Johnson admitted to making the post and taking it down after talking to his wife. He said he didn't know why authorities were at his residence about the post. He was arrested and later denied bond. He's being held in the Andrew County Jail.
