DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources wants to hear from you when it comes to a new licenses in the state.
The Iowa DNR wants comments on a new lifetime trout fishing license for Iowa residents who qualify for the disable veteran homestead credit under Iowa law.
They're also taking comments on a new bill that establishes an annual armed forces fishing license and new annual armed forces hunting and fishing combined license to any Iowa resident who has served in the armed forces.
To weigh in on the new veteran licenses, you can email fisheries@dnr.iowa.gov.
