JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture recently announced funding for the Urban Agriculture Matching Grant Program.
The program will awards grants of up to $20,000 for reimbursement of expenses associated with urban agriculture. That involves projects like a new crop, expanding the use of an agriculture product or other various projects.
The only urbanized area in our listening area according to the MDC is St. Joseph. Residents have until Sept. 15 to apply. More information, as well as an application, can be found at agriculture.mo.gov.
