JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture recently announced funding that will assist Missouri farmers and food processors.
The $500 funding will help with farmers and processers who want to obtain organic certification for their business.
This year, Missouri received nearly $33,000 in program funds to be used for the reimbursement of up to 50% of producers' and handlers' certification costs.
