MDC to offer seedlings later this week

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation wants to help you out if you needs tree or shrubs for your property.

The MDC will be offering seedlings in bundles of 25 per species, ranging in price from 34 cents to $1. Orders will be processed, starting Sept. 1 and lasting through April 15.

Orders will be shipped or can be picked up at the nursery near Licking from February through May.

To learn more or place an order, you can pick up a September issue of the Missouri Conservationist, or go to a local MDC regional office or nature center, or contact the State Forest Nursery at 573-674-3229.
