ALBANY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a tow truck driver is dead after a wreck in Gentry county.
The Patrol says Roger Smith of Albany, 62, was driving a tow truck on U.S. Highway 136, about five miles west of Albany.
At 1:45 p.m. Monday, the front drivers side tire had an equipment failure and Smith lost control of the tow truck. The tow trucked traveled off the road and overturned. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
