TARKIO, Mo. - Farm leases are a very hot topic right now; with issues such as when should the tenant pay part of the rent, how and when can the current lease be terminated, and who pays for fertilizer.
Those are just some of the questions that will be answered at the Missouri Farm Leases Program.
Randa Doty, County Engagement Specialist in Nodaway County for University of Missouri Extension, explained that the program is being held at the Tarkio Technology Institute on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Registration is $50 per person or $75 per couple, which does include a light meal. It will also be livestreamed for those wanting to participate at home. To register call 660-582-8101
