While this month's Board of Education meeting was relatively quiet, the new Maryville R-2 Superintendent asked the board, and others, to think about the future.
Superintendent Doctor Logan Lightfoot told the board this month that by next year, he'd like to have a comprehensive long range facility plan.
Superintendent Lightfoot adds the school district has put out a request for qualification to find the right firm that will work with the public and staff on this plan. He's hoping the Board of Education could vote on that plan by April or May next year.
