ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation wants to hear more from the public about the future of a major highway in Buchanan County.
A third public hearing, scheduled for Sept. 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Remington Nature Center, will gather input on the future of the U.S. Interstate 229 corridor in downtown St. Joseph.
Before the meeting, people can visit the Center to view four currently proposed alternatives or ask question. People can also provide input online at modot.org/stjoe229.
