MARYVILLE, Mo. - After months of work, a bridge in Nodaway County is back open. The Long Branch Bridge, east of Maryville, on U.S. Route 136 is back open to all traffic.
The bridge, which was worked on by the Missouri Department of Transportation and Phillips Hardy Inc., was closed back on May 11 after structural issues were discovered.
The two bridges in that area, the Long Branch Bridge and Mozingo Creek bridges, which were last rehabilitated in 1940, are now up to current standards.
