Several area institutions and businesses made a big list. Forbes Magazine recently released it's fourth annual list of America's Best Employers by state.
In Missouri, Northwest Missouri State University ranked 28th on the list, with Starbucks at 33rd.
Several other area businesses made the list, including U.S. Bank, Hy-Vee and Target. The number one business on the list was GEHA, which is located in the Kansas City-metro area.
