TRENTON, Mo. - The Trenton City Council will help their firefighters by officially joining the Missouri Firefighters critical illness pool.

City administrator Ron Urton explains that firefighters get exposed to dangerous chemicals, which could lead to critical illnesses such as cancer.

Urton says that he hopes access to funding for their firefighters will help them in their time of need.
