DES MOINES, Iowa - The end of summer party begins tomorrow, which is why officials are urging caution.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources and other state agencies in our listen area are hoping people celebrate safely on the waters this Labor Day weekend.
Education Coordinator Susan Stocker says depending on where you're located, you may dealing with hazardous conditions.
Stocker adds if you're in a drought stricken area, then you're at risk of hitting something in low water areas. Overall, she wants to remind people that alcohol and boating don't mix, and you should wear your lifejacket.
