MDA to offer funding for biofuel initiatives

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Agriculture is wanting to help increase the distribution and use of biofuels in the state.

The MDA and Small Business Development Authority are teaming up to award $4 million in funds to fuel retailers, fuel distributors, terminal companies or fleet operations that dispense or will store ethanol blends of E-15 or higher.

Applications are due by Sept. 30 and applicants will be notified no later than Oct. 31 of they've secured funding. More information, as well as an application, is available at masbda.com.
