ambulance

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Maryville man is in serious condition after a single vehicle wreck in Buchanan County.

The Patrol says Phillip McGary, 35, was driving a 2020 Ford Escape on U.S. Interstate 29, about three miles south of St. Joseph.

At 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, authorities say the Ford traveled off the road and struck a guardrail before coming to a rest in the roadway. McGary, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
