MSHP: Rock Port man seriously injured in motorcycle wreck

TARKIO, Mo. - A motorcyclist is in serious condition after a wreck in Atchison County over the weekend.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Michael Maifeld of Rock Port, 48, was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson on MO Route AA, just east of O Avenue.

The Patrol says at midnight Sunday, the Harley went into a culvert. Maifeld was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
