MSHP: Rock Port teen injured in wreck

ROCK PORT, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager in serious condition after a single-vehicle wreck in Atchison County over the weekend.

The Patrol says the unidentified 15-year-old from Rock Port was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado on State Highway 275 at Route CC.

At 4:12 a.m. Saturday, the Chevrolet traveled off the road into an embankment where the truck collided with the ground. The teen, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg, Iowa.
