MSHP: St. Joseph man seriously injured in wreck

COUNTRY CLUB, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 59-year-old St. Joseph man is in serious condition after a single-vehicle wreck in Andrew County.

The Patrol says Stewart Corwin was driving a 2006 Mitsubishi on U.S. Highway 59 Wednesday night.

At 9:30 p.m., authorities say Corwin attempted to turn the Mitsubishi onto Route DD and instead traveled off the road, striking an embankment.

Corwin, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
