Maryville City Council gets overview of FY '23 budget

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maryville City Council could approve the next fiscal year budget by the end of the month.

At Monday night's city council meeting, City Manager Greg McDanel laid out the water and sewer funds, general funds, capital improvement funds and American Rescue Plan Act funds.

McDanel says the city council will send comments and feedbacks after last night's presentation.

If all goes according to plan, city staff will work those comments and feedback into a Fiscal Year 2023 budget that could be approved at the next city council meeting, scheduled for Monday, Sept. 19.
