Maryville city council approves next year's budget

MARYVILLE, Mo. - After months of work by staff, the Maryville City Council approved the next fiscal year budget.

City Manager Greg McDanel says that about $17 million of the $45 million budget is for capital improvement projects. Around $11 million is for both phases of the South Main Corridor project.

Another interesting item in the budget is $100,000 for an engineering study for a community hangar at the Northwest Missouri Regional Airport
