MARYVILLE, Mo. - Maryville residents will notice some changes when their bills start coming in next year.
That's because the Maryville City Council approved a water and sewer rate increase, which was planned last year to fill up the water and sewer fund.
City Manager Greg McDanel says the increased funds will also help with the water treatment pilot plant.
The new rates will go into effect in January, meaning residents will see the changes when their bill comes in February. Residents can expect to see an increase of about 21-24%.
