JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Missouri Department of Transportation want you to stay safe this Labor Day weekend.

According to MoDOT, 11 people died and 458 people were injured in traffic crashes during the 2021 Labor Day holiday weekend in Missouri.

The Patrol, which says fatalities have decreased on roadways so far this year, is hoping to have zero fatalities this Labor Day weekend. To help drivers, road construction that impacts traffic will be suspended today and resume next Tuesday.
