JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - With the beginning of harvest season, the Missouri Coalition for Roadway Safety has a reminder for motorists.
Drivers unfamiliar with farming communities need to be aware of farm equipment on roadways and be aware of the special hazards they present.
That's why the Coalition and others are encouraging drivers this fall to be mindful, keep an eye out for machinery, be patient, pass on the left and only when you have clear sight distance and to wear a seat belt.
