SHSMO offering grants to preserve local history

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The State Historical Society of Missouri is honoring a long-time former Executive Director of the society by making grants available in his name.

The Brownlee Local History Grants, named after Dr. Richard Brownlee, will go to help Missouri cultural heritage institutions preserve and provide access to local history.

Brownlee Local History Grants of up to $500 are available for the preservation of historical records or the education and programming of activities.
