St. Joseph Library to simulate voting process

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - One group wants you to learn how and why to vote. The St. Joseph Public Library Downtown is holding a presentation tomorrow to teach future and inexperienced voters about the voting process.

Evelyn Holtzclaw, senior library assistant, says they will simulate voting day with a mock polling station.

The program will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at the downtown library location tomorrow.

The program is open to anyone 14 years old and up, participants who are 17 1/2 or older will be given an opportunity to register to vote, if they are not registered already.
