St. Joseph taking part in free museum day

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - St. Joseph Museum officials are encouraging families to take a "daycation" later this month.

The St. Joseph Museum is joining in the annual Smithsonian Magazine free Museum Day, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17.

The participating museums in Saint Joseph will be the Black Archives Museum, the Doll Museum, the Glore Psychiatric Museum, the Wyeth-Tottle Mansion and the American Indian and History Galleries.
