Survey shows upcoming potential for pheasant hunters

DES MOINES, Iowa - It could be another great hunting season for Iowans. The results of Iowa's 2022 pheasant population survey shows numbers that are nearly identical to last year.

Upland Wildlife Research Biologist Todd Bogenschutz says partridge season begins Oct. 8, and pheasant and quail season begins Oct. 29.
