WASHINGTON D.C. - The White House has released figures when it comes to the number of residents who will benefit from President Joe Biden's student debt relief plan.

In Missouri, over 777,000 borrowers are eligible for relief. In Iowa, about 95% of Iowans with student loan debt will be eligible.

In Nebraska, the White House estimated that about 232,100 borrowers will benefit. And in Kansas 360,900 borrowers are eligible for student debt.

The White House adds that nearly 90% of relief dollars will go to those earning less than $75,000 per year.
