Bethany Board of Aldermen discusses successful festival

conference

BETHANY, Mo. - At the latest Bethany Board of Aldermen meeting, the board discussed the success of their annual fall festival.

The fall festival, held on Sept. 24, included a car show, bounce houses, food vendors, chilli cookoff, pie contest, wine walk, and more.

City Administrator Jake Taylor says this is one of the bigger events held in Bethany and was by far the most successful one they've had with a great turnout.

In other news, the federal government gave the city COVID-funds and the board in turn gave it away to their local police department for an upgraded radio system.
