CLARINDA, Iowa - You are invited to experience Japanese Culture through the art of Taiko, a traditional Japanese drum.
The Clarinda Public Library will be hosting Tanis Sotelo, who will be performing and discussing the Taiko, as well as traditional Japanese Swordsmanship and Samurai on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Library Director Andrew Hoppmann says all ages are welcome and encouraged to enjoy the performance and discussion, which is free to attend.
