MDC to offer hunting course in Trenton

TRENTON, Mo. - A free class for hunters is coming to our listening area. The Missouri Department of Conservation will offer a free effective wingshooting class in Trenton, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., this Saturday, October 22.

This class will help upland game and waterfowl hunters improve in the field during the fall season.

Media specialist for the MDC Bill Graham adds that they will discuss topics such as selecting the right non-toxic shotshell ammunition for the specific animal being hunted.

Participants must be 15 or older, and need to bring their own guns. The MDC will provide ammunition, targets and drinks. Bringing a chair and lunch is also recommended. To register, visit online at short.mdc.mo.gov/4pq.
