CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible firearm incident at a school.
Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to Southwest School last Friday and seized potential evidence from a vehicle which was parked in the school parking lot.
Sheriff Steve Cox says in a press release that they seized several items, including an “Orbeez” style toy gun, two pocket knives, one fixed blade knife, an electronic stun gun and a minor amount of marijuana.
No firearms or ammunition were found. School officials are aware of the issue and are handling it.
