GALLATIN, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Galt man is in serious condition after a two-vehicle wreck in Daviess County.

The Patrol says 51-year-old Jay Blackburn was driving a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country on MO Highway 6, one mile east of Gallatin.

At 4:05 p.m. Monday, authorities claim that as Blackburn slowed down for traffic, he was rear-ended by a 2021 Chevy 2500.

Blackburn, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The driver of the pick-up truck wasn't injured.
