NE woman seriously injured in MO wreck

ROCK PORT, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Nebraska woman is in serious condition after a wreck in Atchison County.

The Patrol says 29-year-old Kristen Kalbfleish of Lincoln was driving a 2007 Ford Escape on U.S. Interstate 29, about two miles north of Rock Port.

At 11:30 a.m. last Friday, the Ford was rear-ended by a semi truck, which caused the Ford to skid off the road and overturn. Kalbfleish, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries.
