WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Hearing aids are now available over-the-counter at select stores in our listening area. According to a press release from Hy-Vee, the hearing aids are now available without the need for an exam or prescription.
This comes after the FDA recently ruled that people over the age 18 with mild to moderate hearing loss can purchase hearing aids in stores or online without an exam or prescription.
