Landowners in our area, if you are wanting to reuse unwanted plants in your field, this event is for you.
The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering two free prescribed burn workshops on December 7th in Brookfield and December 15th in Princeton. These workshops will help landowners learn how to reduce unwanted plants and boost native grasses and wildflowers to enhance your wildlife habitats.
Bill Graham, Media Specialist for the MDC, says registration and an online course that must be completed before attending the workshop.
