JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation shows Missouri deer hunters killed 16,032 deer during the antlerless portion of the firearms deer season, between Dec. 3-11.
Last year’s antlerless-portion harvest total was 15,019. The next hunting season to keep an eye will be alternative methods, which takes place between Dec. 24 - Jan. 3. Archery season continues to run through Jan. 15.
