MARYVILLE, Mo. - With the rollout of recreational marijuana over the coming months in Missouri, the city of Maryville is looking at how to make money off it.
City Manager Greg McDanel says that 3% sales tax would be voted on by residents in next April's Municipal Election.
But before it makes it to the ballot, the Maryville City Council has to approve an ordinance putting it on the ballot. That could happen at the city council's Jan. 9 meeting.
