No evidence of serial murders found in Fremont County

We have an update to an Iowa story we told you about a few months ago.

Back in late October, 53-year-old Lucy Studey McKiddy claimed her father was a serial killer and had dumped dozens of bodies at a property in Fremont County. After a three-day excavation last week near Thurman, authorities called off the search saying there was no evidence of human remains at the site.

A press release says an array of experts, representing several disciplines and significant assets, were brought in to excavate, collect and examine soil samples from a site identified by a reporting party. McKiddy claimed her father had murdered at least 70 women.
