Regents approve demolition of Phillips Hall & North Complex

North Complex

The wrecking ball will be brought in to tear down two buildings on the Northwest Missouri State University campus.

The Northwest Board of Regents approved the demolition of Phillips Hall and North Complex, two buildings that aren't currently in use. Demolition is expected to cost about three million dollars. Regents did note that the demolition of these buildings will be tricky because of their proximity to other buildings.

As for when demolition could begin, those plans are still up in the air. The current plan is to have demolition finished by next winter, but those plans could be delayed until the summer of 2024.
