TRENTON, Mo. - At the most recent Trenton city council meeting, the council took a look at one law that wasn't quite lining up with state law.
City Administrator Ron Urton says the council passed an ordinance regarding the use of motorcycle helmets.
Urton adds that helmets are not always required now under the new city ordinance.
In new business for the council, the city council approved a wage increase for city and TMU employees, and moved forward with putting a 3% city sales tax for recreational marijuana on the ballot for local voters in April.
