Rezac, Woerth Headline All-MIAA Volleyball Selection

Alyssa Rezac celebrating a point vs Central Oklahoma on November 2

A terrific regular season on the court is reflected by a haul of all-conference accolades pouring into the Northwest Missouri State volleyball program.

Alyssa Rezac is the MIAA Player of the Year. The Wahoo, NE native is just the fourth Bearcat to earn that honor, and the first since Maddy Bruder in 2018. Rezac was a unanimous pick by the conference coaches to win player of the year. She's also the first setter to win the award since UCM's Julia Bates in 2013.

Amy Woerth is the league's coach of the year after guiding Northwest to a 17-3 MIAA record and a regular season conference title for the first time ever. This is Woerth's second coach of the year honor, along with the 2018 season. The Holden, MO native owns a 184-120 career record, all at Northwest, and is second all-time at Northwest in wins.

Jaden Ferguson, Avery Kemp and Payton Kirchhoefer also earned All-MIAA First Team honors after the Bearcats put their stamp on the league winning 11 straight to cap the regular season. Abby Brunssen, Kyah Luhring and Kristen Ford reeled in all-conference honorable mention recognition.
