JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri State Fair and the Youth in Agriculture Committee are now accepting applications for scholarships.
The Youth in Agriculture scholarships, which are for Missouri high school seniors graduating this year, will be awarded to 55 people, amounting to $93,000, the largest amount ever.
Applicants must be active members of Missouri 4H or FFA, and have participated at least once as a 4H or FFA exhibitor at the Fair.
Applicants must also submit an original copy of their application and three additional copies. Applications, which can be found at mostatefair.com, need to be submitted to the Missouri State Fair and must be postmarked by Feb. 1.
