Community Blood Center asks for blood donors

Blood Emergency

The Community Blood Center is hoping you can make time next week to give the gift of life.

The CBC will hold a blood drive next Monday and Tuesday at the First Baptist Church gym in Maryville. Monday's blood drive will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. while Tuesday's blood drive will be from 1:00 p. until 7:00 p.m..

It's been a rough March for donations because of a decrease in first-time donors, as well as a thriving cold and flu season.

Walk-ins are welcome, but donors are encouraged to make an appointment by visiting safealifenow.org/group, using the group code: BL
