MARYVILLE, Mo. - A pilot plant study at Mozingo Lake is going to take a little bit longer than expected.
Over the winter, cold temperatures impacted existing membranes, shutting down the pilot plant for about eight weeks.
Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel and a representative with HDR Engineering were at Monday night's city council meeting to discuss the issue.
The pilot plant should inform the city about the final cost of a brand new water treatment plant. Previous estimates put it around $32 million.
